Qualification and Training Requirements
Prerequisites

Associate, Bachelors or Graduate degree from an accredited institution, and, at least one of the following: 

  • Candidate holds a FINRA Series 6, 7 or 65 License
  • Candidate is a licensed state insurance agent
  • Candidate holds a CFP®, CLU® or ChFC® designation
  • Candidate can confirm working in agribusiness for more than five years
Designation Training Requirements

Complete the AFFP Curriculum—40-hour, self-paced course

Designation Exam Type

Multiple choice, 1-hour exam. Pass score is 80% or better

Continuing Education Requirements

Four hours of continuing education annually to maintain designation, specifically in agribusiness. More information about Continuing Education is available on the program website.
