Status Currently offered and recognized by the issuing organization.
Issuing Organization International Association of Insurance Professional (IAIP)
Qualification and Training Requirements
Prerequisites

Candidates must be current IAIP members and hold the CIIP designation for minimum of three years.
Designation Training Requirements

Fulfill the following within five years of application:

  • Industry education (25 hours), industry designation or published work requirement
  • IAIP education (12 hours), leadership (minimum of one specified position) and event participation (combination of two specified events) requirements
  • IAIP or state-certified ethics program

Continuing Education Requirements
  • Continuous IAIP membership
  • Active CIIP designation
  • Every five years:
    • Meet industry education and IAIP education, leadership and participation requirements
    • Completion of IAIP or state-certified ethics program
