Kamala Chandrasekaran Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

Subject: Investors ability to trade "complex products" - including leveraged and inverse funds (L&I Funds).

Dear Regulators,

I am Kamala Chandrasekaran, 58 years old and I like to voice my opinion regarding your proposal on limiting access to Leveraged and Inverse ETFs (complex products).

Educated Investor: I like to inform you that I am an educated investor in the stock market and actively trading with my husband over the past 25 years. I have a degree in Science.

As a retail investor, I do not wish to see so-called Complex Products subject to additional regulation. Every major trading platform provides lengthy disclosures about these products. All investors using these products already have the tools necessary to understand them and become familiar with the risks if they so choose. Further restricting access to these products by ordinary investors benefits no one, particularly if wealthy investors end up subject to fewer or no restrictions. Complex Products have unique advantages and their availability should not favor some over others.

Sang Park Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

Hello,
I am a long-term investor.
I bought airline stocks at the beginning of pandemic because I believed that they return to their baseline position, and I gained a huge profit. I am maintaining TQQQ in 20-25% of my portfolio,I fully understand leveraged equities and their high risk but I believe that price of TQQQ is going to increase in the long term . I invest in stock with my spare money and have a long-term strategy.so I would like you to keep giving me the right to invest in stock.
Thank you very much.

I want to preserve the long-standing free public markets where investors and their advisors have the freedom to buy public securities without additional government-imposed limitations on investor choice. For myself I am capable of understanding leveraged/inverse funds and their performance characteristics. I have been using them for over a decade. I don't want a 3rd party evaluating my capability to do so and petentially preventing me from buying them. My money, My choice. Thank you,

To whom it may concern:

The following are my comments on the proposed restrictions on leveraged and inverse ETF funds.

I have been using long/inverse ETF pairs since 2006 to improve my investment/trading portfolio profits.

During the 2008/2009 market crash, I was making record returns using major sector inverse ETFs while my fellow retired Verizon associates were getting crushed by the market. Many of them lost 50 to 60% of their portfolios. My most profitable inverse ETF was DXD during that period, but also used TWM SDS & QID to protect myself.
