Jorge Fernandez Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I have traded stocks for over 35 years and one of the most important rights we have as investors is the ability to make our own decisions on what specific investment vehicles we choose to buy and sell. Regulators should not limit this ability for individuals and should instead focus on finding those individuals or corporations abusing the system. Anyone that is investing should do their own due diligence and determine the risk they are willing to take. I have made money and lost money while investing but I do not want someone telling me what I should or should not be investing in.

Keenan Johnson Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I am disagreeing with the concern and motion put forward to regulate ETF products with leverage and inverse properties. As an investor, I am capable of making an informed decision in regards to the risk I am willing to take on with my investments and therefore do not agree with the proposal to restrict these financial products to those with FINRA authorization or special knowledge. If there is an assumption that these things require specialized knowledge and are restricted to a private setting, then I am not being given the full American authority to pursue my goals with risk.

Nancy Osgood Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I have been investing my own money from my self owned business for 50 years. I understand that these and all investments carry a risk and it is my responsibility to investigate the risk and judge what part of my assets I am able to risk. To limit my ability to invest in all products, including leveraged and inverse funds, also limits my ability to participate in the gains, when available. These investments should be available to every investor, not just the privileged.
Please don't limit my ability to invest as I choose.

Hugh Jardon Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

Look FINRA, I can decide the right type of investments for me. I'm have made a large sum of $$ on complex investment vehicles and leveraged index ETFs. I don't need you to tell me where I can and cannot invest.
Yes, I am one of the privileged, but that doesn't mean that I should be permitted to invest in equities that other less fortunate and educated people cannot. Do not restrict these type vehicles such as ProShares from the common investor.
