I think I can choose the public investments, that are right for me and my family.
I can understand leveraged and inverse funds and their risks.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies. they help my protect (hedge) my investments or seek enhanced returns.I use them as a limited part of my overall portfolio.
The ability for small investors to make money in the market is hard enough given all the advantages that Wall Street has been given. Now you are considering giving then another one. What is wrong with you?!? I have invested in leveraged and inverse funds for years and they are a critical income stream for retirement. Dont give Wall Street another advantage they dont need. As a regulator you dont have the right to tell me I cant invest in a product and allow the privileged few to continue.
I have recently used small inverse funds to help me hedge the terrible fall in my stocks. If not for these funds, I would have considered selling off many more of my holdings at losses rather than take even more risk. Is this really what you want? Please don't add any restrictions.
Hi, you would be doing a disservice by changing our investing options.
I oppose new regulation limiting my future investments into leveraged ETFs. I have been investing in this type of investments for years.
I should be able to choose any investment, as an individual, that suites my needs. Without being tested or going through special approval. I have been investing in the markets since 1986. There are already many warnings when investing in leveraged funds. Please support a free and open market to all investors.
Hi, Having the ability to hedge my retirement funds is essential when there is high volatility in a high volatile world. The easiest way to do this is with a leveraged inverse ETF of the SP500 or Nasdaq. The drift risk in a leveraged inverse ETF is a lot les risky compared to options trading or short selling to hedge a portfolio. Options are complicated, expensive and short-term forms of insurance. Short selling is risky since there are infinite losses, expensive interest and I am responsible for paying dividends on the security I am short selling.
While I understand the danger and draw backs of leveraged funds, they can also be useful tools when used properly.
should not change anything, god forbid a regular Jo will make a little MONEY.
