I should be given right to invest as it is now. No one should able to stop my rights.
I believe I should be able to invest in these leveraged and inversed funds.
I should not be restricted to do my investments since the brockerage unit already makes its due diligence to see if I am able or not to do such investme3nts, as it happens with options, currencies, etc.
These investments are important to me as it makes me able to balance my portfolio and actually minimize risk
I OPPOSE any regulation related to the restrictions proposed. I reserve the right to invest as I see fit based on my free will and ability to suceed or fail with my investment strategy. My investment strategy may include leveraged ETFs, and any other instruments that involve risk.
I dont want testing or any other qualifications imposed on me to be able to invest in what I desire.
I have been actively investing for approx 41 years in stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and in EFTs when they became more prevelant in recent years, INCLUDING leveraged ETFs , etc.
Stop treating adults like children, there's lots of risk in life and in a free country people should be free to choose what, where, when, and how to take those risks and when not to. I can go to the casino and throw it all on black if I want, nobody is trying to stop me from doing that, but apparently the SEC feels the need to prevent me from using valuable hedge options to protect my net worth in a terrible economy. This proposal is absolutely ridiculous and far over-reaching Adults can make their own decisions, please resist your urges to control everybody.
I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family..these should be available to more than just wealthy people. I shouldn't have to go through any special process or pass some test to be able to invest in public offerings. I don't need your regulations imposed on me. Leveraged and inverse strategies are important to my investment strategy..they help me to mitigate losses and hedge my investments in some cases and get enhanced returns in others.
Hello,
I use leveraged ETFs as a limited part of my portfolio to seek enhanced returns. Its a very helpful way for me as a small investor to get some leverage otherwise not easily available to me. I understand that investing is inherently risky, and that it is my personal responsibility to understand the risks and rewards of any investment. I fully take this responsibility on myself, and do not believe I need regulatory restrictions regarding particular forms of investments. There is plenty of material available that makes the risks of these investments very clear.

Please don't limit our ability to choose what we would like to invest in, whether it's an inverse fund or exponential or both. I shouldn't have to go through a special process or test. I get warning already when I purchase or sell leveraged ETFs so I'm quite aware of the risks associated with the investment strategies. Thanks.
I don't need the federal government telling me how I will invest the money that I make. I use levered and inverse funds to protect against taking all of a potential loss and maximize my gains.
