Thomas Wilson Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08
I oppose regulation of Cryptocurrency, ETFs and other investments which are not in the SEC's purview. My US Senator and House Representative will hear of this from me!

Freedom per the constitution you have no right to our investments
I oppose the proposed regulations to limit access to leveraged and inverse funds. I regularly use such investments to take advantage of key trends and, most importantly, to help manage risk in my investment portfolio. With uncertain times and high inflation ahead, having access to these investments for everyone is more important than ever.
Restricting retail traders' access to levered products further tilts the table toward the financially privileged. All players should have access to all products.
I, not regulators should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family.
And, Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
This needs to be taken seriously
by FINRA.
Not only do I have the right to share my views,
but you are required to take my comments into
consideration in deciding whether to move forward.
People should be able to choose investments that are right for them and their family. Public investments needs to be available to everyone, not just the privileged.
I wanted the option to invest in these types of accounts
Investors should be allowed to invest in products without any encumbrances from regulators. This is an action to benefit the financial institutions that pay Finra.
Investors are already warned enough on leveraged ETFs that there is no reason for additional regulations and warnings for individual retail investors. Investors should be able to risk their hard earned money in ways they see fit for themselves. Individuals should have a right to use financial products they see fit to use in order to achieve their short term financial goals. Adding additional regulation will only hinder, not help, individual achieve their goals. I urge FINRA to keep the status quo on leveraged ETFs.
