Hello,
Everyone should be free to invest and take risks. I'm all for full disclosure. For example, disclose Point by point:
1, These are high risk investments.
2. The stock market goes up most of the time. Betting against it is risky.
3. They (some) lose value if held overnight.
I have made over 25% this year using these type of funds and wish to be able to continue. I own a significant amount of Real Estate which is not liquid. Hedging by shorting the market when everything seems high reduces my overall risk.
Do not limit my ability to invest and make my own informed investment decisions.
Leveraged funds are the backbone of my investment strategy. I should be able to invest in any public investment I choose to without government overreach.
I would like to be able to trade leverage funds for hedging my portfolio using inverse leveraged funds and also ti generate additional income using a small portion of my portfolio....
I'm a liberal but the Free Market, in spite of the fact that it's far from perfect, is one of the great things about America.
Its important that retail investors are able to invest in inverse and leveraged funds without regulation.
I like to find out who's establishment this funds and whose approved this funds in the first place? Now they don't want to play this games!
The desire to control the entire population of the United States is exactly what was feared by our founders. This is just one more example of "control" where lawmakers are seeking to push their agenda in just another area of our lives as free citizens; our ability to invest funds as we choose.
I would love to trade Proshare and this is should be a freedom for every stock traders
