Lewis Baker Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I have been doing my own investing for over fifty years, and for much of that time was frustrated by the restrictions placed on my retirement savings, especially the inability to buy individual stocks rather than mutual funds. Having finally escaped those regulations after retirement I do not want to be told that I am not sophisticated enough to use mutual funds and etf's if they are 'complicated' or 'risk.' I use leveraged and inverse funds to avoid risk, be it inflation, higher interest rates, currency weakness, or stock market declines.

Luis Molina Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I OPPOSE RESTRICTIONS TO MY RIGHT TO INVEST ON LEVERAGED INVESTMENTS

I, not regulators, should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family.

Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.

I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before you can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds.

I understand leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I do not need these measures imposed on me.

I am capable of understanding leveraged & inverse funds & their risks. I do not need these measures imposed on me.
Leveraged funds are important to my investment strategy. I only use them as a limited part of my overall portfolio.
