I have understanding of LEVERAGED AND INVERSE ETF. I can handle the risk and invest
Dear FINRA,
I not regulators should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged. I shouldn't have to go through any special process, like passing a test, before I can invest in public securities. I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I do not want these measures imposed on me. Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies and the diversification of my portfolios. I have been using them for many years.
This is unfair and uncalled for to put certain restrictions on this type of investment in our free markets! Please DO NOT restrict our markets and require individuals to prove anything, or be of some certain elite status. This is just absurd.
FINRA -
I oppose restrictions to my right to invest. Let the average investor have access to the same investment products as the "Accredited Investor" does. That would be freedom. Disallowing it is tyranny.
There should be no restrictions.
I don't need a government agency to protect me from myself.
Thank you very much.
Restricting access to capital markets is a form of modern day redlining. Honestly, given the low capital base from which I start, I would not stand a chance of building an investment portfolio of any size without the use of leverage or derivatives.
I oppose restrictions on my right to invest in public investments. It is my money and I can do with it as I choose!! You CANNOT restrict this!!
Allow us the right to invest what we want. Why does the government always think they can control what its people do? If we had all these rules in place when this country was founded we would cease to exist as country. It's our hard earned money we are investing.
Please allow qualified investors to invest in the manner they see fit.
Stop babysitting adults and let each person be responsible for their actions.
Too many rules!
One thing you can do is to not allow people to short equities unless there is an uptick.
Some genius killed that rule, creating a lot of havoc in the market.
Take care of things that helps the market be stable, not blocking people from doing what they want, even if they lose money!
Thank you.
Ive been using these instruments for years and understand the risk. Please do not change regulations.
You shouldnt restrict my access to funds that I have been investing in for years. Your proposed changes are arbitrary and subjective. I invest in these funds to hedge other investments, but they arent complex.
