The government doesn't have any business telling what they can and can not invest in. Period. We don't need to be told that an investment is "too complex" like were a bunch of idiots. We know what the risks are and accept what we are willing to I vest in and the risks involved. Get out of our business.
I should have the right to choose my investments as I wish. There is no reason to restrict me from investing in Cryptocurrency funds. I understand the risks involved just like I understand the risks in trading options, which I also do daily. Cryptocurrency funds are an important part of my balanced portfolio designed to achieve my financial objectives. I object to having restrictions placed on my cryptocurrency investing.
Please continue to allow retail investors to invest in leverage and inverse ETFs, as well cryptocurrency ETFs. Retail investors are aware of what they invest in and are taking full responsibility for their own action. It is their freedom and this freedom should not be taken away.
Government intervention in markets is antithetical to our economic system & the foundations of our country. We dont need regulators deciding what people can & cant invest in for fear of unsophisticated investors losing money. Absolutely ridiculous. The whole point of a market is that some people win & some people lose. Grow up.
I am a care giver. I invested my money to provide for my retirement. Since I have had a ROI of about 18%, I think I am capable of making my own decisions regarding my investments. I don't need any bureaucratic idiots telling me what to do. I see what the bureaucrats are doing to this country. Leave me and other investors alone! You're trying to provide a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.
I tell my stockbroker what to do. He doesn't tell me.
We don't need more restrictions, we need more opportunities to make more money.
The investing public not regulators should be able to choose the investments that are right for me and my family.
Investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged. You shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before you can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I do not need these measures imposed on me. Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies.
Personal freedom is the principal of this country and nobody needs to be licensed to spend their money how they choose...
I don't need or want any government agency determining my capacity to understand "complex products." The trade of leveraged & inverse (leveraged) products allows smaller investors to take on asymmetric risk with very little liquidity. This allows me to insure large portions of my portfolio during down-turns with very little cost/risk; something I would otherwise be unable to do if access to these products is restricted.
