Andrew S. Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

The idea that everyday people need to be "protected" from themselves with further regulation and restrictive safeguards pertaining to "complex investment products" is absolute nonsense and contradicts the very principals of a free and open marketplace. Real problems like naked short selling and big money manipulation goes completely unchecked, yet the magnifying glass is on retail? We need more regulation for the everyday retail investor?

Cecilia Cavazos Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I use these so-called "complex" products to hedge my longs in various accounts at certain times I judge market risk to be high. How am I supposed to hedge my IRA without leveraged/inverse products or options? Is there some reason FINRA doesn't want me to hedge against a possible decline in the value of my long holdings? I am a very experienced investor, I'm a big girl and I'm well aware of the risks of these products and investments in general. Not that that is anybody's business, nor should I have to justify myself to anyone.

Hi. As a new investor, I put money in the market November 2021 and took a substantial loss on my retirement money. After months of learning market trends, I have used Proshares Funds to help regain my losses. They accelerate quicker, and decelerate quicker. That's about it. Do your research. It's also good to look both ways before you cross a street. Do we need more regulations for those who don't ?

I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged. If you want retail investors to continue investing through the rough markets, we need access to public securities like leveraged and inverse funds, which allow us to make bets against the market without the risks that come with shorting a specific company.

Edward McGinty Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I oppose restrictions to my right to invest. I-not regulators- should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged. I have made 200% in one stock and over 100% in three stocks. My banking stock is rising. I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse and their risks. I do not need these measures imposed on me.

Dear Sirs/Madame, I sincerely regret hearing that you are considering regulating my purchase of public investments! I should be able to invest in what I choose, not have regulators choose for me in a capitalistic country! I frequently invest in leveraged ETFS to moderate stock market volitility and put options for protection as well! I have been using these instruments for many years and understand the risks and benefits! Again, the public markets should be allowed to operate freely for the best results for investors and the country at large!
