Creating additional layers of testing and regulations around existing investment products, especially equity types that have been around for years and are widely used, does not add any value to the existing and new investors. Every investor has it's own right to select his/her own investment options, including inverse, leveraged or cryptocurrency ETFs to name a few. Every investor already educates themselves on the risks and benefits involved with each investment.
This regulation is extremely harmful to investors. With proper education, many investors can learn to trade these equities safely just like other investment. Have regulations hurts the nature of these investments
This is too Broad of a Restriction on a vehicle that's been around for some time. Where's the REG's on BTC?
Hi FINRA Committee Members, I don't believe it is fair that you are trying to regulate leveraged and inverse funds. I understand the risks in using them, and have used them successfully in the past. I find them to be easier trading vehicles than using options and I use them as a way to keep my portfolio hedged and to play short term swing trades during uncertain times. If others don't know how to use them properly, that's on them, and I'm sure they'll learn quickly if they lose money by not knowing what they are getting into. Please reconsider restoring access to these funds.
Im an investor and need access to tools that large firms have access to. Do not take my financial freedom. These tools do help to mitigate any risk in the market.
Less government oversight
I am against this. Leverged funds are useful.
There are fewer and fewer investments available for people who want to try and hedge their savings. Please leave this alone.
DO NOT curtail my investments. I'm an American. I marry who I want and invest in what I want.
