Hello, I'm sending this comment on behalf of the current situation of short sales being done within the stock market of AMC. As a new investor being affected by the current situation of the manipulation being held within the stock market, specifically AMC, it has been disheartening to see what's being done to the stock market. I've noticed throughout my time investing, I, along with many other individual investors, have realized since the beginning of January that there has been inequality due to certain interests between the wealthy and working class of society.

As an individual investor I would like a fair market with the same information and resources open to all for investment researchers, from big hedge fund firms to individual investors, me. It is completely unfair Short-sellers can sell naked shorts, or empty shares or whatever you want to call them while, I, not a big [REDACTED] firm, have to pay for each of my shares from my hard earned money.

Hedge fund managers need to be held accountable by jail time for naked shorting a stock in order to bankrupt a company. Regular investors that believe in a company and buy into it to help a company grow with an intent to make a profit should not be on the short end of the stick here (no pun intended). Investigate and hold these people accountable!

Shorting shares should be limited to the shares you actually own. No borrowed shares. No corporate bond shares. No fake shares. ACTUAL Shares owned!!!

The current US market is tainted with fraud, with the regulatory agencies being seemingly aware or not doing their function properly. Through complacency - years of unchecked fraud and market manipulation have been allowed to happen with impunity. The counterfeiting practice of naked shorting has happened for many years, with nothing being done to rectify the illegality of the market conditions. Naked shorting is not legal. - Conditions need to be met by regulatory agencies to ensure it doesn't happen.

The past is the past. Let’s make better steps forward with a lot more transparency for new generations to come.

There is clear manipulation within the Market and you guys have a legal obligation to protect everyone's interest. Naked short are against the law and you guys need to enforce the law. We truly just want to see AMC do well.

I JUST WANT THE RULES TO BE ENFORCED FOR ONCE. YOU GUYS ARE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT THE RETAIL INVESTOR. What is happening behind closed doors is unbelievably evident. THEY ARE OVERLEVERAGED yet have not been called. AMC retail investors own the float and they continue to borrow shares they find somewhere. How can you claim to be for us when their penalties are a slap on the wrist. please protect us.

Hedge funds and shorts are manipulating the financial system to make revenue gains while retail investors don’t have equal opportunity to realize gains with not as much capital available to them. This creates a very toxic ecosystem within the stock market industry.
