What makes the American Financial Markets so exceptional is they are the most innovative markets on earth. What this means is anyone with sound knowledge about a product is willing to take the risk only because such products are available and they trust the provider of those products to do the right thing to closely mirror the benchmark index as much as possible. If you take out access to these leveraged and inverse funds you are taking out innovation in the market place that no other country has been able to achieve so far as they do not have the confidence that these products will achieve investor expectations and could result in law suits. Why do we have a product like the VIX or VVIX that are the worlds most innovative and unmatched in the industry. American innovation. When I invest in leveraged and inverse funds , I follow the index, understand the risks by trial and error to make my decisions. The process evolves over time and while it's not perfect it gets better and better with time. If you take away the one opportunity to learn the product that I am investing in to make the right decisions. When you take these products away you are giving other countries the opportunity to create these products for American Consumers who money will move away from America in search for a hedge or yield, a possibly more untrustworthy source that we would now be forced to trust with our wealth overseas and have the risk of losing even more. Let free markets stay free. The S&P 500 Index is one of the most innovative product on earth and removing these leveraged and inverse products is denying the S&P 500 Index of its innovation as in the end all the products are in one way or the other tied to this index. I hope you make the right decision to not take americas innovation away by restricting it to high net worth individuals as everyone has the right to access innovation and information equally in the free world. May god be with you and may god bless the markets
