I'm adding my comment in vehement opposition to the proposed new regulations limiting my ability to invest in leveraged and inverse funds. I oppose the proposed regulations because I want to exercise my own free will. I understand the risks and workings of both leveraged and inverse funds and do not want to have my ability to invest in these taken away from me, nor do I want to have to prove to anyone or jump any hurdles to be able to invest in these. I know how to use inverse funds when markets are declining and also how to use leveraged funds to enhance my returns when markets are rising. I also understand the risks in investing like this and I accept them. Please do not take my ability to choose which funds I invest in away from me or people like me.
