I have been very successful investing and trading with complex instruments and I have no formal investment training. Imposing restrictions on my ability to invest in these vehicles and making them only available to a select group of investors will harm me and many others that invest. The addition of pre-investment testing, certifications, training, or cooling-off periods are a deeply unnecessary restriction on the small investor.
