I oppose the restrictions trying to be imposed by FINRA related to FINRA Regulatory Notice #22-08.
It should be my decision to choose the public investment that is right for me. Public investments should be just that, available to the public not just the privileged. Leave the publics rights alone and allow us to choose what is the best investment for ourselves. I shouldn't have to go through special processes like passing a test before I can invest in public securities like leveraged and inverse funds. It is the responsibility of the investor to understand their risk before choosing to invest, but there should not be hoops to jump through that are imposed on certain people of the public. I understand there are risks in any investment not just these types. I do not need these measures imposed in order to understand the risk. These types of investments are important to my investment strategies so I would appreciate it if you would let me invest how I please.
