It comes as no surprise the regulators seek to take away wealth protection tools at the moment of reckoning on their self-serving, malinvestment encouraging policies coming to roost. Nobody went to jail in 2008. Nobody will go to jail in 2022. It's tragic what they have done to this country, and for the life of me I cannot understand why they are doing it.

Dear FINRA,
I have recently been made aware of the FINRA proposed rule #22-08, and it has me concerned for investors for the following reasons listed below. In summary, I believe if this rule is codified it will hurt investors more than help investors, will hurt the economy around investing in America, and is simply against the freedoms granted to us as being an American citizen.

Your brokerage firm issues a trade confirmation every time you buy or sell a security. When a single tap or keystroke can make the difference between 100 and 1,000 shares, it’s important to review this information carefully as soon as you receive a confirmation.
I use leverage to build capitol. With the exception of the January, February 2022 pivot in the market I have done very well in leveraged accounts. Perhaps a limit of 30% of your total account should be available for leverage would be a better solution for those who tend to leverage to much. Thank you for your consideration.
