I would like to See ALL Data daily regarding short positions. How is it that high frequency trading can be programmed to carry out millions upon millions of short transactions daily, but not able to simply submit data regarding those positions. They should be submitted daily along with darkpool positions. Transparency needs to become 100% as this will also help keep markets more honest because
1) Market maker cannot run their hedge funds : They have huge conflict of interest in their actions as market maker. 2) Mandatory short interest and long interest on weekly basis 3)US to adopt a settlement discipline regime (like EU's CSDR), which would reverse failed trades and suspend market participants who repeatedly fail to deliver shares sold 4) Acting on current rules diligently. 5)
I have spent thousands of hours reading, researching, and investigating all of the ins and outs of the markets for many years. Never have I ever seen as much blatant manipulation as we do now by certain short sellers. The media articles. The dark pool trading. Short sellers MUST BE INVESTIGATED. They're hiding the manipulation in broad daylight. And it's cost me thousands of settled
More frequent public reporting of short positions is needed, more detail in public reports, and more transparency for the retail investor. The markets have become a corrupt and lopsided playing field that caters to big money and leaves the retail investor at a decided disadvantage. Hedge funds play by a different set of rules, and then get slapped on the wrist for the kinds of illegal activities
Must enforce the rules first and foremost. 2nd borrowing of shares once off each share. 3rd Some type of proof the short was covered or the ftd was paid. None of this go short then cover long? 4th if naked shorting is illegal have a system that keeps track of the shares not allowing a float to be bought and sold several times over. 5th enforcing rule it is illegal to loan out shares on cash
Please dont block us from trading the stocks we want, please let me decide where I want to invest and please do not restrict my purchase power. I should have the right to choose the stocks I want.
I fail to understand why this issue has resurfaced. I do not feel that I need financial advisor or someone to protect me from myself. This very dangerous territory. If I should not invest in inverse or leveraged funds, maybe I should not invest in start-ups, or penny stocks, or any stock that does not meet with a regulators political opinion. We have far too much WOKE control now.
