FINRA,
I am opposed to the new regulations further restricting retail investors. As a retail investor it is my responsibility to manage my own risk and be aware of the stocks and securities in which I invest. I am a grown man and do not need you to act as my mother. The risk is my own and your regulations will just make it harder for investors like me to profit off of securities and stocks. So
Ive been well informed by my stock broker with written documents and explanation about the risk of leveraged and inverse funds/ETFs. Therefore, I DO have the knowledge and understanding about the risks/rewards regarding the said funds/ETFs. Thus, I would like the freedom to trade inverse and leveraged ETFs since they enable me the flexibility to profit from both rising or falling or even flat
It is simply un-American and wrong to restrict access to certain investment vehicles simply because FINRA has generalized that the average retail investor is incapable of comprehending the products in which they invest in. From someone who has been studying leveraged funds for years now, please do not do this. One could argue that investing in small biotech stocks or "Bottom Fishing"
This is so much of another government over reach. My money is my investment. Any way I chose to invest it. This proposed bill is just about as unconstitutional as it gets! There are many ways to lose money on investments: penny stocks, SPAC's, the general stock market alone, shady brokers/financial advisors running ponzi schemes, and many more ways. To whom it may concern at the Financial Industry Regulation Authority,
I am aware that you are planning to ban the ability of some citizens of this country to be able to invest in complex investment funds such as leveraged and inverse investments. I believe that I should be who decides how I invest my money and not a government agency who does not know me or how or why I invest in these funds. As
Please prosecute Citadel for their stock manipulation of GameStop
This attack on the individual investor seems to occur anytime the stock markets drop 10% or more. It seems FINRA looks for a scape goat and acts out to attack us by trying to destroy opportunity and product selection. They don't seem to understand the true reason why the stock market so elevated and due for a greater fall. The Federal Reserve illegally violated the Federal Reserve Act,
No more private dark pools ( aka Citadel Connect ) that are insulated from FIRNA. No more naked shorting. Transparent share pricing within dark pools.
What is being done to investigate naked shorting? There’s obviously an issue with it in GameStop and AMC among others. When will we hold these institutions for the damage they cause?!
