This creates an unfair market, which will make the market easy to manipulate and unhealthy. In the long run, this will negatively affect the US economy.
As a good father would not neglect nor punish the reservations and protective nature of his childs small, worthless, yet invaluable collection of odd, incongruent, and disassociated toysneither should a person in financial authority govern over those with less money, less experience, less intelligence, or be given the power to reign over them with unwelcome, hostile regulation and impingement
I am a very experienced investor. I follow all the US and World markets. I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for my current risk assessments and market sentiment.
To Whom May be Concerned, I am an educated investor and should not have to go through any special process like passing a test before you can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse ETFs. Not only I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks, I truly believe it's my choice and rights to invest on stocks or funds the way I want. That said, the
Investors such as myself should be able to invest in leveraged funds without needing special processes or tests. Leveraged funds should be available to public regardless of education or net worth. Leveraged funds are far more safe investment vehicles when compared to stock options or cryptocurrency.
As an investor i understand risk and rewards associated with 3xleverege ETF as well inverse 3xleverege ETF .And I am totally against and rule imposed on small investor which will discourage investing.
I am writing to express my concern with the regulations you are considering regarding leveraged and inverse funds. I use these funds to balance my portfolio and enhance its performance during adverse times like we are currenlty experiencing.
I understand the risks of investing with these funds and, more importantly, don't feel it is your job to control how I invest my money.
Thank you
To whom it may concern,
I am strongly opposed to any further regulation/restriction on my ability to invest in the vehicle of my choice by my government regulators. Inverse and/or leveraged funds are very useful instruments for investors in many asset classes and wealth strata. They should not be reserved for any particular clientele. That is the purpose of the available mutual funds and ETFs
This is not where regulation is needed. This is government overreach on our ability to analyze our own risk tolerance.
It poses a severe threat towards market fairness. It's like locking people in home because of COVID-19 . Retail traders or investors should be able to freely choose whatever products that fit their trading strategies. Finance is NOT only for the rich or the privileged. We know what leveraged funds are and how they work. Also, the liquidity will be severely affected if it is passed.
