The free availability of leveraged and inverse Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) shares are an absolute benefit to average, individual, small-time investors such as myself. The available prospectus of each fund clearly describes the risks and tells us the proper cautions.

We need to be able to Trade Leveraged ETNs that are more convenient to trade than Futures. Quality traders use these instruments for Volatility programs

I Oppose Restrictions To My Right to Invest in Complex Products, including Leveraged and Inverse funds! Any attempt to impose restrictions on the individuals right to buy these trading instruments gives the large trading firms an unfair advantage and makes the market unfair to us. Large firms have resources to use trading programs and other trading tools which individual investors do not have.
I'm fully aware of the risks involved in trading inverse and leveraged products. I do not want any restrictions on my ability to trade in these products.
It would be beneficial to ALL investors to receive accurate data not self reporting data. The benefits of trading with all the up to date real time data not 30 days old would promote a more trustworthy and fair market. Think about it if we see data that is 30 days old and are making trades based on this we are really trading in the past and not in the current like all hedgfunds and institutions.
I am capable of managing my own trades and should be able to make a choice about leveraged trades. These restrictions are unnecessary and I oppose them.
