I vehemently oppose restrictions from Regulators such as FINRA whom I consider bureaucrats to limit my ability to invest in Leveraged ETFs. Ive invested in leveraged and inverse products for a long time. Over that time, Ive developed personal expertise and bespoke strategies attuned to my risk comfort level and funds.

Leveraged funds are important to my investment strategy. I diversify my investments in the market as a whole and use leveraged funds to boost my returns. If I am able to invest in the S&P, I should be able to leverage that. I am well informed on how the leverage products work including decay. I implore you not to limit my ability to invest as I see fit.

There is no reason to impose this restriction. Investors are already accepting risks when opening an account and imposing harsher restrictions only serves to make average investors have bigger hurdles to cross when it comes to returns over a long period of time. The free market should remain free, passing an arbitrary test does not mean someone is a better investor.
