To the FINRA board, I strongly believe that I should have the right to choose in what I get to invest in. Publicly traded companies should not be regulated or restricted to the American public. It's not fair that giant corporations or the supremely wealthy have more flexibility and power to play this game, where the common American has to try and get by in this world and one way to do
I demand to have the right to choose any public investments that I deem to be right for my family. I have been making investment decisions by myself for decades. I consider this is
part of my lawful right, my freedom of speech. Further, I do not agree to be required to take any test on my investment strategy. Leveraged and inverse funds provide me the flexibility to enhance my investment
Leverage & Inverse Funds have been a critical part of my investment portfolio to hedge against volatility. It will impact me substantially as I have a significant amount invested in these types of funds. Please do not restrict us from participating in these funds.
I oppose the proposal to limit my ability to buy leveraged or inverse funds.
As a seasoned investor I would like the ability to use inverse funds as I see fit to protect my portfolio when I see it beneficial
ex. as a hedge during a downturn.
I would like for them to stay available to me.
Thank you.
PROPOSAL HAS TOO MANY UNDEFINED ITEMS, LEAVING PROBABILITY OF GOVT CREEP AND CONTROL. IS TWO MILLION HIGH NET WORTH IN AN INVESTMENT ACCT? OR FOUR? OR FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND? OR $400? SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE IS RIDICULOUS. DEFINE TERMS, IF EVEN IN SPECIFIC CONCEPTS. I OPPOSE RESTRICTIONS ON INVESTORS, SOME OF WHOM MAY LOSE OR GAIN. BUT, LOSSES AND GAINS LEAD TO LESSONS LEARNED. RESULTS OF ONE'S
We should have the right to invest in whatever asset we choose without these type of restrictions by FINRA. Also why do I need to take a test to be able to invest? I understand the risks and have done my due diligence. Leverage and inverse funds should be treated like any other asset or fund. These potential restrictions are not logical.
When you actually work hard and for Americans, you can have a say. Until then, keep your hands out of our pockets.
Please oppose any restrictions on my right to use my money as I deem fit. I understand the risk of leveraged funds and do not require any special measures imposed on me. I can't help but believe you really don't care about my welfare but only care about corporations possibly losing capital. Why would things change now when things did not change during the longest bull run in the history
