This is completely ridiculous. If I have a brokerage account and read the disclosures on my broker's site, I know exactly what I'm doing and getting myself into. There is no need to babysit investors.
Gentlemen: Please preserve the leveraged ETFs. They are extremely useful in balancing and hedgeing portolios. And they definitely provide other balancing benefits to the overall market. I have invested in inverse funds for years and as an individual I should have the continued ability to do so. I was advised continually by the fund as to what I was investing in just as I am advised by companies of their particular markets. I have found that an inverse fund can provide a measure of protection just as investing in a put. In fact, I prefer the inverse fund to a put. I get
