As a long time investor, I should be able to decide for myself how much risk I want to take in my investments. It is no benefit to make things more difficult for everyone.
I don't want the top .001 % to benefit from the crash. Everyone is equal.
I OPPOSE RESTRICTIONS TO MY RIGHT TO INVEST.
All investors should be able to freely choose their own investment strategy. We dont need more regulation. Regular disclosures from fund managers is sufficient to protect investors and provide adequate notice of the risks.
If people want to throw away money they have the right in America to do so, if they did not have this right Las Vegas and Atlantic city, State lottery would not exist. Your job description should read : Making sure they know clearly their money may evaporate is all you need to do.
I have used both inverse and leveraged funds several times over the years and met my objectives for both hedging and capital gains. Adequate warnings and educational information are readily available in the fund prospectuses and the issuers
I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the rich and privileged. I do not need government regulators telling me what I can invest in. We the public shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before we can invest in public securities, like leveraged
This is so wrong when you allow "the public" to buy a crypto. The risks are clearly laid out. The public is capable of understanding the risk of the leveraged funds... I DONT need regulators imposing what i can/cannot invest in
If we are to have a fair and free market it must be available to all, regardless of economic, socioeconomic and educated position. Such legislation to limit trade ability would affect individuals unequally, making market success available only to those already at an advantage. If our stance is truly a fair and free market, this legislation should not pass!
Good gracious, where did this proposed rule S7-24-15 come from. I am a prudent retain investor that uses inverse ETF's sparingly to reduce the risk from decline in long held positions. Inverse funds are important to my investing strategies.
