It is my right to buy any stock I want and it is against the free market to limit my right! Also, I have lost since I bought my leveraged stock and I was not planning to sell it anytime soon. By selling my stock, you are forcing me to loose money in short term, which is not fair.
Every share should be tracked with unique identifier. Every share should be located and lent only once. Every order should be delivered T+2 or fails mean 10x cost penalty. Every short position should be updated with FINRA daily.
Hedge funds and shorts are manipulating the financial system to make revenue gains while retail investors don’t have equal opportunity to realize gains with not as much capital available to them. This creates a very toxic ecosystem within the stock market industry.
The hedge funds are not covering any of their shorts on $AMC. It’s horrible that the SEC won’t step in and make them cover. People are losing faith in the stock market and will be horrible for the economy. People won’t want to invest anymore. The SEC needs to make it right.
I believe it’s important and critical in keeping track and reporting shorting of stocks. We must have a better understanding where all the stocks in circulation is going so we know when the price of a security is manipulated or not. There are so many holes in the system
Apply the rules fairly. If you restrict leveraged and inverse funds apply them to ALL such funds, including bitcoin and other crypto.
If you raise the bar, inverse and leveraged do not need the same high bar as illiquid and opaque investments. The bar should be far short of those for accredited investors.
Hello
Everyone should have access to these products. If there's concerns about ignorance using them properly then make a short youtube video required to buy them.
They are useful instruments during volatility and should be embraced, not shunned.
Investors can make their own decisions. Keep Big government out of it.
I use leveraged and inverse ETFs as short term investments and its important to allow retail investors the same flexibility to trade in rising and falling markets as hedge funds. I understand the risk/reward profile of these and would be devastated if the option were taken away from me just because Im a retail investor.
I like to invest in leveraged ETFs. Im quite aware of the risks and potential long and short term fluctuations. And my desire to speculate with my money ought to be my choice.
Individual investors ought to be able to invest in any ETFs. Theyre much safer than some horrendous penny stocks.
