I started investing in leveraged and inverse leveraged ETFs after learning about them around a year after I started investing. As with any investment you need to educate yourself on the risks involved, but I do not believe restricting the opportunity to high wealth individuals is appropriate. It has become an important part of my investment strategy.
We don't want or need you to protect us from ourselves, and our own investing decisions, and personal responsibility. Do not limit us!

With the proper sponsorship and legal safeguards any investor should be allowed to invest in investment products such as: Target Date Funds Non-Traditional Index Funds (Smart Beta + ESG) Emerging Market Funds High Yield Bond Funds Closed-end Funds Commodity Funds Cryptocurrency Funds
I am a staunch opponent of this regulation. What right do you have, as the government, to decide what I can do with my money?
I should be able to choose which publicly traded investments are right for my investment objectives and not regulators. All people should have the ability to buy publicly traded funds and not just those who are at a certain net worth. I understand the way the funds I use work and the risks involved and do not need to pass a test to prove my proficiency. These funds help me protect my portfolio
I oppose this restriction to my right to invest.
