Leveraged stocks with options offer easy money for unsophisticated investors (those without insider information and months of day to day observation). By selling deep in the money puts on a variety of these investment vehicles youre able to get a safe and moderate return while others can hedge their losses. Its a win win.
I am a grown man who has invested for many years. I do not need a regulator telling me what I can and cannot do with my own money. These leveraged and inverse funds are no different than investing in growth stocks and other companies. All go up and go down. These funds are an important way that I hedge my portfolio. Please do not restrict my freedom.
I have turned a 30k retirement fund as of 3/2020 into 263k as of 4/2022 by the use of leverage funds. Please don't put restrictions on leverage and inverse funds!!!!! It's not fair that you limit small investors from making big returns while letting wealthy people have these opportunities. The returns I have made from leveraged funds will have significant outcomes for my retirement.
I oppose restrictions on inverse and leveraged inverse securities because they provide a way to protect savings and investment in times of volatility and market decline. They can be used In personal accounts to offset losses experienced in managed retirement accounts that only have investment opportunities that rely on market increases.
I object to applying restrictive regulations to investors trading in ETFs that are leveraged to 2x or 3x. The same for those ETFs that are reversely indexed. The reverse investment ETFs are an especially convenient and efficient alternate to the "shorting" of stock trades. Do not differentiate between leveraged or reversed ETFs and the usual form of ETFs. Simply leave a good thing as it
We don't need "big brother" sticking their nose in our business. STAY OUT!!!
I understand the risk of leveraged and inverted products. I use them for risk hedging. Im taking the series 7 exam. Meanwhile Im the securities industry registered representative in Japan. Thank you.
Dear FINRA, As a US citizen and investor, I expect to be able to make my own decisions when it comes to my investing choices. Individuals should be able to choose from a variety of investments, including leveraged and inverse funds, in accordance with what is right for them in their own opinion. We are adults and can make our own informed decisions without having to jump through additional hoops
Why should retail not be able to buy leverage etf like the vix but you can let my AMC and gme position and marked by hedges this market is a joke silver to the moon
Investors should have freedom to choose the public investments that's comfortable to their risk appetite. Investors not regulators should be able to choose the public investments that are right for themselves and their family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
