I have personally been an investor for years and utilise leveraged investment products to boost my returns. I know the risks involved and choose to use a small portion of my overall money invested in these products to supplement standard, non-leveraged mutual and exchange traded funds. The leveraged funds are already regulated and restricted to have limited offerings. Taking away more freedom to
Stop trying to control individual ability to participate in public markets. You show yourselves to be autocrats fighting to maintain an imbalanced and tiered society when you limit access to the wide world of available financial products and strategies. FINRA is not a government agency. Congress and the SEC should not being delegating their authority over markets to a cartel lobbyist group like
I believe in a free market. What this democratic country is about. I understand the risks associated with leverage investments, I believe e it is unfair and wrong to limit our freedom to invest, especially with inverse etfs. It is up to me to decide the risk I am willing to take. To impede me from investing in inverse etfs in the start of a bear market is not fair. It goes against the principles
Hello, I do not support efforts by regulators to prevent smaller investors from taking advantage of inverse and leveraged funds. Protection from market reversals are just if not more important to small investors.
The financial markets are undemocratic enough. Please do not restrict investors in favor of professional institutional investors. These instruments are used for risk management, hedging enhancing returns of smaller investors and leveling the playing field given wash sale rules, margin requirements and those who do not want to invest in options.
The only thing this rule does is protect the investor/white collar class and restrict the freedom of small investors that have an education, such as a double major in banking and financial institutions (like me), but not cooperate sponsorship nor high net worth. They're going to have all of the resources to meet those requirements, which means they're most likely to be irresponsible,
Please do not restrict leveraged or inverse ETF's I use them to hedge the expense is way less than options and less risky than futures
USA is a country with free market. The investment should be regulated, but not restricted. The ban on the above investment is harm to my freedom. Please don't do it.
I OPPOSE restrictions on the right to invest. In particular: All investors not regulators should be able to choose the public investments that fit their circumstances. Public investments need to be available to the public, not just those investors considered acceptable by regulators. Investors should not be vetted by regulators--through the passing of a test or other means--before being allowed
