This is an utterly ridiculous regulation. How can ordinary young people such as myself am able to invest my hard earn money and a chance to become wealthy myself without all of these hurdles. If the general public cannot invest in public securities, then they should not even be considered "public" to begin with. Do away with this absurd regulation and allow everyone to invest.
If I want to short a stock, or use a regular or inverse ETF, that is my choice. Americans are supposed to be equal, and have to the same opportunities that the more wealthy have. A lot of leveraged funds provide tremendous opportunities for the active investor, and do exactly what they're meant to do. I don't need to attend university or work for Goldman Sachs to have access

Leveraged and inverse funds are not so complex that they require any special skills or knowledge to understand the subtilties of their character. Don't underestimate the intelligence of investors.
To whom it may concern: Please do not make even mor difficult for everyday people to participate in US financial markets. We would like more options and even more access to both public and private investments. Thanks for your considerations to these matters
We need to decide if we want to invest. The government shouldn't be trying to act like it's my mother.
Individual private investors should have the right to invest unhindered in inverse and leveraged stock index funds. These funds facilitate methods of trading that can be used to manage market risk, and are easier to trade than options. Investors should have this method available for investing. Please do not restrict investors access to these types of funds.
I should have the right to invest my money as I choose. I understand the risks that I assume when investing my money in public securities. Leveraged and inverse funds allow me to hedge other invests so that I can protect myself should the market become bearish. I use an inverse fund for such a purpose currently
Regulating my investments is my business, not the government controlling how I choose to invest!
