I am fully aware of the risks and dangers of leveraged funds. I value the freedom to chose the public investments that I deem correct. I use these funds sparingly to mitigate risk or to correct an obvious to me, imbalance. I am strongly opposed to government regulation of free participation in these investment vehicles which have a way of teaching harsh lessons to the foolish. And hedged great
Hi, I oppose the SEC Proposed Rule #S7-24-15. I feel this rule would only serve to further divide the wealth gap that already exists in this counrtry, as it would make it more difficult for investors such as myself, with a lower net worth, to take advantage of leveraged funds in order to enhance capital gains. While I certainly don't think it would be wise or safe for any investor to insvest
The additional rules proposed by FINRA does not protect the public as whole, rather only protects a small few that wants additional control on the free market. We are currently able to trade knowing the risks and rewards - the people do not need high net worth, special classes / tests, or additional government regulations imposed on us.
The SEC needs to stop placing burdensome regulations on the average trader while kowtowing to the rich. Stop over regulating everything! I not regulators should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged. I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before I can
I oppose limitations on my investments in leveraged and inverse funds. I want to be able to invest freely.
The last several years have seen a growth in funds that help individual investors seek targeted exposure to investments and strategies previously only accessible to high net worth individuals. Use of funds including leveraged funds, inverse funds, commodities funds, real-estate funds including global real estate, high-yield bonds, currency strategies, emerging markets stock, bond and currency
Inverse investment options are an very important leverage tool to minimize risk
I oppose restrictions to my rights to invest -- rights should not only be available to the privileged.
Please keep these funds open to regular people like me. Instruments like these make it easy for the average investor to inverse funds.
