I understand that regulators are interested in restricting my ability to invest in certain investments.
With the plethora of information on the internet and other places, I firmly respect an individual's right and responsibility to invest as one feels appropriate for their needs.
I have, and am using leveraged and inverse funds as a way to hedge against wild market swings - such as we
I'm both a financial advisor and an investor, i find the the leveraged etf's are necessary to mitigating long term risk. by themselves they are a problem. but when used corrrectly they help lower volatility of the overall market, and individual investor portfolios, especially since there is no other way to easily hedge the down side in retirement accounts.
You have no idea how your regulation will close off the ability of small investors to grow their investments to retire in a better space. Why you favor Wall Street and not Main Street, I don't understand. Public traded investments should be available to all of the people, not just the already rich billionaires.
The leveraged inverse ETFs are the critical portfolio hedging tools in my IRA account. Because IRA account doesn't allow to trade options and futures instruments, the leveraged inverse funds are the only hedging strategy in the down-trend market.
I really need to access these financial products to manage my retirement funds.
I am a 74 years old retired COL USArmy with a Masters degree. I do not need a [REDACTED] nanny state to tell me when, in what, and how much to invest in what every investment I wish. It is my money to loss or gain. So [REDACTED]!! PS Do something import [REDACTED]!!

Leveraged ETFs are an extremely important part of my long-term investment in my taxable accounts and also IRA accounts. Please don't arbitrarily dictate what we can invest and what we can't. You will disrupt our retirement plans and perhaps we should sue the authority for the adverse actions.
My wife and I have carefully invested in ProShares leveraged funds since 2008 and have profited substantially from our investments. No one has advised either to or not to invest in these funds, it has been our own decision. We hope that you will allow us to keep these investing in these funds for our retirement.
This is outrageous. I am retired and I use leveraged and inverse funds carefully and often. They are key to my investing approach. Do not restrict access to them by small investors like me. The large institutions and hedge funds already have every advantage over us. You do not know what is best for me.
Regulators should not be able to prevent me or force me to take tests before I can invest in public securities like TQQQ.
I understand about investor funds and their risk. The above
fund has allowed me to easily increase my retirement funds, so
do not take that away from me.
