Dear regulators,
I would like to make my opinion known regarding the restrictions for buying leveraged and inverse funds and dozens of other popular investments deemed to be complex.
I, not regulators, should be able to choose the public
investments that are right for myself.
I shouldn't have to go through any special training or
passing a test before I can invest in public
Leveraged and inverse ETFs are important to my investment strategy because I don't know how to trade options or short the stocks. It's easy to understand and easy to buy and sell. Please don't take it away from us. Otherwise I will have harder time to accumulate enough savings for my retirement. Please leave it alone, there are tremendous reasons for leverage and
I not regulators should be able to choose the public
investments that are right for me and my family.
Public investments should be available to all of the public,
not just the privileged.
I OPPOSE RESTRICTIONS TO MY RIGHT TO INVEST!
While the situations cited in Regulation 22-8 (involving money loss by trusting individuals) surely are disheartening, imposing regulations on the general public is not the answer. When I began trading in complex investmentments online, a warning appeared before I could purchase and I had to sign paperwork stating that I understood the risks. I feel
I don't believe small individual investors should be limited from investing utilizing leverage as long as they accept the risks. These inverse and leverage funds allow small investors to reduce the slippage inherent in trading options. The assumption that a small investor is a stupid investor is elitist and insulting.
I oppose the type of regulation being proposed to access leveraged investments. I note that investors such as me have to submit a self assessment of their capabilities before they can open a trading account with brokers.
I also note that no such restrictions or limits on leveraged instruments are placed on the so called institutional investors and companies. I demand a level playing field.
Dont prohibit me from investing.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my
investment strategies, they help me seek enhanced returns,
and I use them as a limited part of my overall portfolio.
Are you so afraid of Crypto currency because it threatens your power to regulate? It's our money we can do whatever we want with it and we want to invest in Crypto as well as other funds and assets.

I wish to maintain my freedom to continue investing in various products and shares in the stock market which help me build an excellent portfolio, amongst them are the ETF's which is why I oppose the restrictions to my rights and freedom to invest.
