FINRA New Issue Form Changes – Live Today
This is a reminder that beginning today, Monday, September 28, 2020, the updated FINRA New Issue Form is live. Users can access the new platform by going to https://newissue.finra.org or via the FINRA New Issue quick link in the FINRA Gateway and logging in with the same log in credentials used to access the retired FINRA New Issue Form.

The FINRA New Issue Form will be unavailable from 6:30 p.m. ET, Friday, September 25, 2020, until midnight ET Monday, September 28, 2020, while updates are made for the platform infrastructure conversion.
As FINRA has announced, the current FINRA New Issue Form is being retired and replaced with an updated submission platform. Beginning Monday, September 28, 2020, users will access the updated
Effective 09/30/2020 FINRA will disable support for Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol versions 1.0 and 1.1 for all web applications/API connections. Firms using older clients/browsers that do not support TLS version 1.2 and above will not be able to establish connectivity with FINRA web applications/APIs.

As previously communicated, FINRA will require Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) for access to all production API reference data files.The test period for this project will continue through Friday, January 10, 2025, and the use of digital certificates will continue to be supported through this date so clients can successfully migrate. FINRA encourages API clients to test their MFA process in the
Boston Stock Exchange (BSE) specialists effecting transactions in NYSE securities through ECNs, or Nasdaq securities through the UTP Plan, from terminals located on the floor of the BSE, are effecting transactions on the floor of the BSE for purposes of NASD Rules 1032(f) and 1060.<br/>

FINRA has corrected the intermittent TRAQS stop sign error condition some clients were receiving on Monday when attempting to access the website.

FINRA has observed some TRAQS Web clients who continue to experience stop sign errors when attempting to access the TRAQS website. Closing all browser sessions and opening a new session will normally alleviate this problem.
