Nurturing Relationships in the Virtual Age
Crystal Washington, technology strategist and futurist, explores ways of nurturing relationships in the virtual age. During this session, Washington will demonstrate innovative methods for sowing seeds now for future impact, including effective communication with our professional contacts during high-stress periods, the role of social media in diversity and inclusion efforts, and creative ideas for forming task forces and increasing teamwork without in-person, face-to-face interaction.

Financial Capabilities in the Wake of COVID-19
FINRA Investor Education Foundation President Gerri Walsh talks with FINRA Governor Dr. Camille Busette, Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution, Director of the Brookings Race, Prosperity, and Inclusion Initiative, and member of the FINRA Foundation Board. They explore demographic differences in the financial capability of U.S. adults in the wake of COVID-19, and potential solutions to critical issues, including financial literacy, saving for retirement, managing debt and student loans, home ownership and wealth inequality. Speakers will also discuss highlights from new FINRA Foundation research.

Leveraging Diversity Training and Examining Inclusion
Dr. Edward Chang, Harvard Business School Assistant Professor of Business Administration, will examine how social norms and public scrutiny impact the inclusion of women in, and the racial diversity of, corporate boards and other organizational groups. During this session, Dr. Chang also discuss whether diversity training actually works in the ways companies anticipate, and how organizations can better leverage training efforts.
