I oppose the intended changes to the regulations possibly resulting in my ability to invest in the leveraged ETFs.
I oppose any action that will restrict or impede my right to invest in leveraged or inverse funds now or in the future.
To Whom It May Concern,
I am opposed to any restrictions on my rights to invest in public investments such as leveraged or inverse funds.
I should have the right to choose the investments that are appropriate for our family.
These are investments that should be available to the public and not solely for the benefit of the elite.
I refuse to take any test or qualification exam to determine if I am granted the right to access or trade such funds and am fully capable of understanding how leveraged and inverse funds operate, inclusive of any risks.
The government should not restrict trades on any leveraged funds including Pro shares. They should be traded like any mutual funds or ETFs to be fair. I do not believe that the risk from any leveraged funds are more riskier than mutual funds or ETFs.
not regulators should be able to choose the public
investments that are right for you and your family.
Public investments should be available to all of the public,
not just the privileged.
I'm a long term leveraged ETF investor. I believe in the US economy and the leveraged ETF is the best way to gain a financial freedom. I, as an individual, should have the right to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. The leveraged ETFs provide a simple way to invest and it works for the people like me who doesn't want to learn the complicated option plays and trade often. I believe buy and hold the leveraged index ETF is the best way to invest in US market. Please don't take away this privilege from me.
It poses a severe threat towards market fairness. It's like locking people in home because of Flu, but except the rich ones. All retail traders or investors should be able to freely choose whatever products that fit their trading strategies. Finance is NOT only for the rich or the privileged. We know what leveraged or inverse funds are. Also, the liquidity will be severely affected if passed.
Dear sir,
As an investor, we have the right to choose our own investments. Inverse ETFs allow the average investor to hedge the their downside risks in a falling market! Do not take this tool away from the average investor. Markets do not just up and we need investment opportunities in both bull and bear markets.
I find this measure very unfair.
They rob us of the possibility of improving our lives.
I fully understand these types of investments and am very disappointed in this proposal. We should be free to invest as we see fit. It is my money, not the governments. I do not need to jump through arbitrary hoops. I am respectfully asking you not to take MY freedom from me - You are not responsible for my decisions on what where or when I invest. You should focus on rooting out securities fraud and financial malfeasance-not questioning the intelligence of investors
