Leave my Retirement investments [REDACTED] alone ... PERIOD !!!!
I OPPOSE RESTRICTIONS TO MY RIGHT TO INVEST!
I believe that myself, not regulators, should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family.
The term "complex products" is undefined and can be arbitrarily applied. I prefer to make my own investment decisions. I do not need anyone to tell me what is too complex. There are investment products on the market that do avoid because I consider them too complex or too risky. Certain option products and crypto currencies are things I avoid by choice. I do not need nor want some bureaucracy making decision that restrict my rights to choose and may not be beneficial to me or the markets.
I use a bond price inverse/leveraged ETF to protect myself against rising interest rates. I do not want any restrictions against my use of this fund or any other inverse/leveraged ETF.
The Federal Reserve has promoted non market interest rates for years- to my detriment. If you want to regulated someone- try them.
I oppose restrictions on my right to invest in any public investments I choose and feel it is very unfair to hold these funds back for just the privileged. I am capable of understanding the risks involved by investing in leveraged and inverse funds and do not need to pass a test before investing. Trading the inverse funds in recent months has enhanced my returns a great deal with so much fluctuation all through each day; of course I've used them only as a very limited part of my overall portfolio.
I have been up and down with good times and bad times. I believe it is our choice to select any type of investment we deem fit. Restriction like this does not help your cause. It only make the riches more wealthy. Your decision or decisions like these are the reasons why the gap between the rich and poor gets bigger
I oppose this regulation
I do NOT support regulation of leveraged, inverse funds. I am aware of the risks such investments carry. Furthermore, I am an adult and wish to make my own investment decisions.
Please do NOT pass legislation/regulation effecting my ability to invest in leveraged/inverse ETF's.
Thank you,
Mel Brown
This rule is excessive and unnecessary. Why would such a restriction be put in place ? The current process works. please keep current rules in place.
I am an adult, and can accept the responsibilities of my investing decisions. I don't need a regulator to tell me how to invest my personal finances. The lottery is perfectly legal and ran by governments as a tax on the poor.
