I should be the one to decide what I want to invest in. There shouldnt be tests or exams to determine this first. Crypto currency is an important part of my investing strategy. Dont hurt the small time, working class Americans with these restrictions.
I oppose the proposed restrictions to leveraged and inverse funds as well as other investment strategies that are considered "risky." The primary reason I use options are to minimize my risk because I have to invest in the market. Let the buyer beware and suffer or reap the rewards of their own investment decisions.
I am a retail investor with over 10 years experience and can clearly understand the risks involved. You can certainly enforce that a disclaimer is read and understood before trading, but limiting our choice will just artificially distort the market.
I not regulators should be able to choose the public
investments that are right for me and my family.
Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
I shouldn't have to go through any special process
like passing a test before I can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I do not need these measures imposed on me.
Leveraged funds are important to my investment strategy and it is used to seek enhanced returns.
Although there could be down side of these funds, risk does exist and it is considered.

As a retail investor and trader, I protest FINRA's consideration to either limit of remove the option of purchasing leveraged and inverse ETFs. This action limits opportunities for retail traders and investors to use these instruments for hedging purposes. Since this is my money at risk and not the general public's I feel I have the understanding and competency in choosing where I wish to place my money for investing purposes. Retail investments and trading activities do not create systemic risk unlike the mega institutions.
