Shankar Ganesh Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before I can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds.

I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks.

Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies. They help me seek enhanced returns when I use them as a limited part of my overall portfolio.

I am a young investor with a growing income but not a lot to invest right now. I use leveraged ETFs as part of a long-term strategy to gain more exposure to the US stock market now, when I don't have a lot to invest.

This allows me to, in the long term, reduce my risk from Sequence of Returns risk. This is a considered strategy I am pursuing, not a short-sighted gamble. Please allow low-net worth investors to continue investing in products such as UPRO (3X S&P 500) and TMF (3X long-term treasuries).

Allen Duerson Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I am an individual investor and use leveraged investments as part of my investment strategy. I have not found them to present risks that jeopardize my investments when managed properly in proportion and with balance to my other investments. They play an important part in my overall portfolio strategy balancing risk and reward. I fully understand and manage the risks they present as well as any other risks that exist in other securities in my portfolio.
