Everyone should be given a choice of what they invest in - stock , etf, option, leveraged etf, etc. No one is forced to invest in leverage etfs. I value it as an option.

It screams lack of integrity when the regulations kicks in when the market is about to become the most volatile, instead of doing it before the tightening of the monetary policy.

Individual investors deserve the ability to manage their own risk and make their own investment decisions. It is preposterous to suggest that there are any real systemic threats to the financial system arising from these funds. If institutions can regularly take on risks that actually affect the broader financial system then individuals should be able to take risks that largely only impact themselves. [REDACTED]

I should not have to go through any special like passing a test before I can invest leveraged and invest funds. I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I dont need these measures impose on me.

I currently own some leveraged and inversed funds, mainly to hedge my portfolio. I wish to continue be able to do so without going through any complicated process. I don't want any restrictions of buying these funds in the future even in my retirement related account. I am fully aware of the risks and don't think anyone else should make such decision for me.
