Hector Castanon Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

Dear FINRA,

I just became aware that you are considering on adding some strict regulations regarding the purcahse of inverse funds and other investments that will affect many investors such as myself.I really hope that is not the case because in my opinon you will hurt more investors than help them. Now I can't speak for every other person that invests in the stock market obviously, but for me these type of investments help give my portolio a good balance when the market makes a big direction change like it has lately for example.

Aaron Gibson Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I am a private investor with over 30 years of investing experience. My portfolio consists of individual companies, ETFs of various sorts and mutual funds providing a comfortable level diversity. I understand the need for investors with limited experience not to have access to leveraged funds as well as option training without some level of training so they understand the associated risks. I would hope that as regulators explore imposing requirements for this type of investing, it is not strictly made available to "professionals" or institutional investors.

I strongly oppose the proposed regulation of complex products that might include leveraged and inverse funds. The assumption that retail investors do not know what they are doing is flawed. The retail investor should be able to choose investments that are right for them and not the regulators. The investor shouldn't have to go through any course before getting an approval to trade in public securities - like leveraged and inverse funds. We are perfectly capable of understanding these funds and the risks associated with them.
