I want my investsments protected..
I do not want the government to make this decision.
ProShares leveraged funds has been a great way for me to make monthly income with reduced risk. I have been able to generate profit, but this regulation will definitely hurt me and my finances.
Hope this proposal of regulations do not pass.
Dear Regulators, I know that certain type of shares are risky, but I can understand that market does involve risk. Certain risks do give better returns. So, this privilege should not be limited to people with huge wealth. I should be able to decide where to put my money to invest.
I oppose restrictions and have the right to trade leveraged and inverse funds in public investments.
I oppose any restrictions on the right to make investments in leveraged and inverse ETFs. These investments are critical to my investment performance and successful trading strategy. I do not need to jump through a bunch of hoops to be granted "permission" to freely contract and do something that I have been successfully doing for many years.
To whom it may concern,
I think I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
I believe that I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before I can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I think I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I do not need these measures imposed on me.
Thanks for you understanding!
I have been investing in leveraged ETFs for four years. Risky, yes. But strict rules would not stop people from investing. Please use prudence in legislation in allowing the public access to some very good tools.
Please let the individual decide if and how one wants to use leverage.
I have found these instruments very valuable. Let me give you a simple example. Maybe four, five years ago my daughter opened a Roth IRA. We deposited exactly $2500 into two 2X leveraged funds, ROM and UCC. Complete buy and hold, no trading at all, especially as the IRA is held by Vanguard which restricted buying and selling of these securities altogether. So no option to sell and re-buy.
