Our right to chose investment!
Such intervention is unwarranted and an attack on my right to determine my own path forward. How elitist can this government get? Such securities should be open to ALL, not just the privileged few. Such maneuvers as "passing a test" is quite reminiscent of Jim Crow voting laws designed to prevent black Americans from voting! I am fully capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks and I know how they fit into my PERSONAL investment strategy. Do NOT impose restrictions on my investment choices.
i think it is a good idea to lower the potential for predatory market practices and scams
I am an experienced investor who is aware of how ETFs and inverse type funds work. Like any other investment there is due diligence and risk, which I accept. I dont think FINRA should over reach and and limit availability and access to these instruments. Instead, they should focus more in investor education, especially to younger generations that are crafting their investment strategies, and not focus on closing access to these instruments.
This is ridiculous. I should be able to read a prospectus and invest in any fund. It's my risk.
Individual investor does not have opportunity to create large and risky positions in short or inverse funds .They are useful only as hedging instruments in time of market stress .Primary purpose is a protection of investment and that opportunity should not be removed from retail investors. Leave it alone ,we need it ! Jerry Poklepovic
Sounds like more socialism to me. Free people can make their own decisions about how to spend their own money. Less government involvement in my life is what I want
Leave my Crypto alone. Let us invest how we choose.
The loss of the ability to invest in inverse funds, such as SH (S&P inverse), is detrimental to my finances. Access to such funds allows me to add downside protection and stability to my overall portfolio.
