Regulators should not interfere with my right to purchase leveraged or inverse securities. We have a free enterprise system, so please don't interfere with my liberties. If I lose money in this type of investment, then lesson learned. That's the best way to learn.
Leveraged funds aren't complex.
Options are moderately complex and should require some amount of savviness to participate in.
Crypto funds are scams and I am shocked that regulated brokers are allowed to push them.
I believe it is the prerogative of individual investors to choose for themselves their risk appetite. Placing such strict regulation on leveraged investment vehicles would do very little to protect a select few investors and very much to send destructive ripples through the entire investing community. I strongly oppose such regulation and favor instead a free market approach where, as mentioned above, investors freely choose the vehicles that support their appetite for risk.
I oppose restriction on investing on leveraged product. It is my responsibility to invest on the thing for me, by me.
Please do not oppose restrictions on these leveraged and inverse funds. My clients and I really like these funds as a part of their overall portfolio.
I am a responsible investor employing leveraged ETFs responsibility. This kind of regulation would interfering to the point of potential causing losses in my strategy. This will do more harm than good.
I have been investing for over 45 years and use leveraged and inverse funds from time to time. I understand the risks and rewards.
I should be able to use leveraged funds and index funds to invest as it is easy to track instead of individual shares. Individual shares needs to be tracked daily, monitor their business, monitor quarterly results which consumes lot of time.
Leveraged funds are easy to manage and could trade easily without any hassles and they were trading since years.
I use leverage funds understanding the risk/rewards. I do not need to be told that it is too risky for me. I'm an adult and I make investment decisions based on my risk tolerance. If you try to close a fund I would demand restitution for any potential losses of principle
