I am shocked and disheartened to know that regulations/prospectuses are under consideration to preclude retail investors from trading the Leveraged and Inverse ETFs, such as TQQQ and SQQQ, etc. As a retail investor with limited funds to hedge against market risks, for instance, I often buy SQQQ to protect my tech stock position without holding up a large proportion of my liquidity, which has worked really well to cover my long term holding.

I OPPOSE RESTRICTIONS TO MY RIGHT TO INVEST

I do not think regulators should try to limit my right to invest in whatever investments I want. I have been using leveraged and inverse ETFs for years and do not need to go through any unnecessary government restrictions. I'm urging you to NOT place any new restrictions on investors who invest in these securities.

Dear FINRA
Do not take away our ability to invest/trade leveraged and inverse ETFs. I understand the risk and I use it for hedging. Also remember, long term returns of DIA:TNA, SPY:UPRO, QQQ:TQQQ are approximately 1:3 as expected.
At least do not take away the rights to trade these. Broad Index based leveraged and inverse ETFs in due course are not risky. Please look at the data.

Please continue retail investors the ability to purchase leveraged ETFs. It is a vital piece of my investment strategy.

This is completely unfair to the retail investor and is just another example of trying to limit the people's rights on investments. Using leveraged funds are essential in day trading, especially when day trading. We as individuals are completely capable in self-sufficient research without having to pass any forms of tests. Public investments are meant for the public, not just the elite.

Please do NOT make any regulations or changes to the ways leveraged funds are traded. Especially with the recent downturn of the stock market, you would take away people's chances to recover from the recent downfall, and regulations would cost individuals thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars, per person.

Dear FINRA,

I respectfully ask you to please refrain from enacting any additional regulations on this type of funds. A statement that notifies the buyer of the risk already has to be signed!
There is no need for any additional onerous regulations in buying this type of fund in a free market environment.
The purchase of these funds should not be limited to the super wealthy or financial experts only. This type of fund or funds provides the ability to hedge or balance one's portfolio.
