Mahyar Mahdavi-Harsini Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I strongly oppose this measure. People must have the right to freely trade investment products at their own risk and based on their own research. If an individual decides to blindly accept a financial institution/advisor's trading recommendations then that individual could lose significant amounts of money regardless of whether or not leveraged or inverse exchange-traded products are available to them. I use these products extensively in my trading strategies and they have proven to be extremely useful.

It is very disturbing to hear that the FINRA is considering limiting the ability of the public to make its own decisions about investing or trading in the stock market. As so many Americans have finally figured out, the government does not serve the people, it serves the wealthy and the corporations. It would be a pity if you were to use your power to further disenfranchise the public from the market. Maybe you should audit Congress with your extra time.

Timothy Sessions Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I am not a child or mentally deficient so I find it disturbing that FINRA regulators feel that I need a nanny to oversee my financial decisions. Wealthy investors have access to advanced financial instruments not accessible to regular investors like myself. Leveraged and inverse funds somewhat even the playing field for retail investors. When the market becomes volatile I can hedge my investments with these funds. Who are you to tell me what I can invest in?

JoAnn Tymeson Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me. Public investments should be available to ALL of the public not just the wealthy. I should not have to go through any special process before I can invest in public securities. I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I occasionally use leverage and inverse funds for enhanced returns. This is my money and my risk. I dont need regulators to protect me.
