I want the ability to invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. They are very important to my investment strategies!
FINRA is right to have concerns about leveraged and inverse ETFs for retail investors trading on their own without a broker or advisor. Simple attestation and acknowledgement of risks with education is the answer. Investors are constantly told investing has risks and the primary focus should be on education of those risks without detrimental affects on broker dealers, brokers or advisors.
Regulators should not be telling me what I can and cannot invest in. All this does is make it hard for the small investor to invest like the big investor.
We need more options or tools to invest and hedge. Please keep them. Thanks
Comments:Please do not limit my ability to trade any so called complex products, such as leveraged and inverse funds, or impose any more regulations than are currently in place.
I should be able to choose the public
investments that are right for me. Its my money and my risk.
Public investments should be available to all of the public,
not just the privileged. Everyone in America should have the opportunity.
Comments:i been making money on TQQQ and SQQQ. makes no sense to impose this nonsense rule. also dont even try to care about peoples finances when crippling student loans / predatory loans are everywhere.
I am opposed to regulations that restrict my being able to
invest in leveraged and contra funds. I invest in these funds
from time to time in order to hedge against the volatility in
the market. I am fully capable of deciding when these
particular funds are right for my investment portfolio.
This is an infringement on our freedom to invest. I NEVER see any marketing of levered products let alone marketing in any way to suggest these are safe vehicles. Would you prefer retail investors pay the high costs of margin interest in order to create leverage? Your overreach is beyond logical comprehension!
