I should be allowed to choose the public investments that are right for me. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged, elite. Keep the government and the "nanny state" out of my affairs! I don't need your so-called protection! I am perfectly capable of making up my own mind about my private investments and affairs. I understand the risks involved in more highly-leveraged investment products! Now, go take care of some real problems [REDACTED] and stay out of the private citizens' business!
This would only cause the gap between the haves and the have nots to widen even further!
I do whatever I want with my hard working money. Very simple
I would like to have the liberty to continue to use leveraged funds and investments at my discretion. I oppose restrictions on my rights to invest in public investments.
This is an effective tool for active retail investors. Please do not remove the ability to trade these leveraged funds!
I am writing regarding the proposed limitations on trading leveraged and inverse ETFs. I do not believe it is governments place to be involved in my investment strategies, other than ensuring that investment vehicles provide adequate and fair disclosures. This is already being done. In excess. I receive enough papers to heat my home every winter, all consisting of disclosures, warnings, prospectus, etc., please allow me to exercise my rights, as an adult citizen of this country, to invest how, when, and where I see fit without additional burdens from beaurocrats.
I don't require a nanny to "help" me invest and I'm pretty sick and tired of the government trying to protect me from myself. I've used leveraged ETFs since 2006. They're a vital, yet minuscule part of my portfolio, both enhancing my return and protecting me from catastrophe.
Do not interfere with free market investors to make their own decisions.
Dear staff,
I oppose restrictions on my right to invest in public investments.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies. They help me hedge my investments and seek enhanced returns. I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
Thanks for your attention and time.
