I oppose these regulations. I have been contributing to my 401K/403B for over 30 years and the government should not have a say in what my investments are. I worked hard to save that money. You don't see my hands in their pockets. Keep them out of mine!!!
To whom it may concern,
I decide how I want to invest my money. I do not want a bureaucrat deciding for me. I've been a stock investor for 50 years and I trade the inverse and leveraged ETF's as a hedge on my portfolio. I understand how the are priced. I really do not need FINRA telling me to take some kind of test.
I do not want "Regulators controlling my stock market purchases or selling of stocks! PERIOD!!!!!!
If the market is in fact a free market then this rule proposal would never have been proposed. A free market isn't just for the rich who can afford it. The choice to participate in the market is an individual choice that each person must make for themselves, that should not include taking a test before investing in public securities. Furthermore this will create further speculation that the market is not in fact free but actually corrupted and controlled by the rich. Each person should do their own research and understand their personal risk tolerance for themselves.
I like and understand leverages ETFs please do not restricting trading of them
This would restrict my ability to purchase equites that I have held for a long time and would also decrease the value of some o the investments that I hold (no longer allowing many to purchase them). I also hedge my portfolio thru the use of some of these funds. This rule would adversely affect me and I am against it.
The federal govts job is NOT to rule our lives. The right to pursue happiness & make investments is our right & is not to be controlled by ANY govt office. Im certain elected officials with exempt themselves from such control.
Leveraged and inverse funds are very important to my investment.
I'm allowed to spend my money any way I want to. Leave me alone.
